विश्व की सबसे पुरानी सभ्यताओं में से एक, अपना भारत देश, आकर्षक और समृद्ध विरासत, परम्पराओं, पर्व-त्योहारों का एक सर्वव्यापी संगम है। हमारी विरासत की मुख्य विशेषता हमारे पूर्वजों द्वारा निर्मित उत्कृष्ट वास्तुकला और उनके द्वारा दुनिया को प्रदान किया गया महान दर्शन है।
हमारे पूर्वजों ने सनातन (हिंदू धर्म) की भव्यता और सुंदरता का वर्णन केवल कागजों पर ही नहीं बल्कि पत्थरों पर हमारे भव्य इतिहास को उकेर कर किया है।
अगर कभी भी आप गलती से यह सोचते हैं कि आप एक विकसित युग में रह रहे हैं, तब आप अपने पूर्वजों द्वारा हजारों साल पहले बनाये गए अजंता, एलोरा, खजुराहो के मंदिर, सूर्य मंदिर, और हम्पी के मंदिरों के दर्शन अवश्य करिए। हम शर्त लगाते हैं कि आप यह देखकर आश्चर्यचकित रह जाएंगे कि हजारों साल पहले हम कितने उन्नत थे। जब दुनिया मुश्किल से दैनिक मामलों का प्रबंधन कर पा रही थी तो हम इतिहास रच रहे थे। विकास के इस युग और हमारे पूर्वजों के युग के बीच महत्वपूर्ण अंतर यह भी है, कि हमारे पूर्वजों का विकास एक सतत विकास था।
हमारी इस समृद्ध और पवित्र संस्कृति, और वास्तुकला के आकर्षण और भव्यता को पुनर्जीवित करने, विश्व स्तर पर पहचान दिलाने और इस भव्यता की ओर अधिक से अधिक लोगों को आकर्षित करने के लिए भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (बनारस हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय), वाराणसी के विपिन वर्मा अपनी टीम चित्रा और अदिति के साथ प्रयासरत हैं।
प्रोजेक्ट टेम्पल किताबों की श्रृंखला में किताब 'प्रोजेक्ट लव टेम्पल' पहली कड़ी है।
इस किताब का विमोचन मुख्य अतिथि श्री राजन श्रीवास्तव, रजिस्ट्रार इनचार्ज, आईआईटी (बीएचयू), विशिष्ट अतिथि प्रोफेसर पी.के.रॉय, समन्वयक, स्कूल ऑफ बॉयोमेडिकल इंजीनियरिंग व डॉ. नवीन उपाध्याय, डिप्टी लाइब्रेरियन, आईआईटी(बीएचयू) ने किया। पुस्तक के विमोचन के अवसर पर पर विशिष्ट अतिथि प्रोफेसर पी.के. रॉय ने कहा लेफ्ट और राइट ब्रेन के सही कॉम्बिनेशन का परिणाम है पुस्तक 'प्रोजेक्ट लव टेम्पल', तथा मुख्य अतिथि श्री राजन श्रीवास्तव ने कहा इतिहासकारों ने जब भारत का इतिहास लिखा तो वो हमारे भव्य मंदिरों को भूल गए, तथा उन्होंने भारत के मंदिरों पर आधारित पूरे प्रोजेक्ट के लिए बधाई और शुभकामनायें दी।
विमोचन के अवसर पर असिस्टेन्ट लाइब्रेरियन श्री कानू चक्रवर्ती, सिस्टम एनालिस्ट श्री अनुराग त्रिपाठी, कनिष्ठ अधीक्षक मिस आरती गुप्ता समेत संस्थान के शिक्षक और कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे। .
किताब के बारे में :- यह किताब खजुराहो के भव्य मंदिरों पर आधारित है | इन मंदिरों का निर्माण किसने किया, इसके पीछे क्या विचारधारा थी, इन प्रश्नों का जवाब कल्पना (फिक्शन) के माध्यम से खोजने का प्रयास किया गया है। यह किताब अतीत में चीजों को बदलकर भविष्य की तबाही को बदलने के विचार पर आधारित है।
कहानी की शुरुआत एक अजीब सपने से होती है जहां एक महिला सपने देखने वाले से कहती है कि वह कुछ अलग करने जा रहा है, मानवता की रक्षा करने के लिए उसे चुना गया है।
सपने देखने वाला कहानी का नायक है, उसका नाम रोहन है, वह बहुत प्रसिद्ध वैज्ञानिक है।
बात हो रही वर्ष 4034 की जहाँ ह्यूमनॉइड ( इंसानो जैसे दिखने वाले रोबोट ) बहुत आम हैं, संख्या में इंसानों से भी ज्यादा, ये ह्यूमनॉइड युवाओं के रोमांटिक साथी बन गए हैं, और शादी अब भूली-बिसरी परम्परा हो चुकी है।
जैसे-जैसे तकनीक बढ़ती गई, मानव मूल्यों में गिरावट आती गई और महिलाओं के खिलाफ अपराध बढ़ते गए और स्थिति इतनी ज्यादा नियंत्रण से बाहर हो गई कि महिलाएं अपने लिए अलग राष्ट्र की मांग करने लगीं।
एक दिन जब रोहन ने समाचार देखने के लिए टीवी ऑन किया, तो उसने जो कुछ भी देखा वह उसे तबाह कर देने वाला था।
मानवता को बचाने के लिए और यह सुनिश्चित करना कि लोग इंसान होने की गरिमा समझे, जीवन की पूजा करें तथा महिलाओं का सम्मान करें, रोहन ने एक मिशन की शुरुआत की-'प्रोजेक्ट लव टेम्पल' जिसकी असली शुरुआत काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर से होती है।

टीम : विपिन वर्मा (लेखक) एक प्रौद्योगिकी स्नातक और प्रबंधन में पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट डिप्लोमा हैं। उन्होंने माइक्रोस्ट्रिप पैच ऐन्टेना पर एक शोध पत्र प्रकाशित किया है तथा 'ए डायरेक्ट ब्रॉडकास्ट सिस्टम यूजिंग सीडीएमए टेक्नोलॉजी' पर एक पेटेंट दायर किया है। उनका तकनीकी दिमाग महान भारतीय कला और संस्कृति से प्रभावित है और उन्होंने भारत की सांस्कृतिक विरासत को विश्व स्तर पर पहचान दिलाने के लिए अपनी टीम चित्रा जोशी (सह-लेखिका) जो कि उत्तराखंड की खूबसूरत पहाड़ियों से हैं, और अदिति सिन्हा (प्रूफरीडर) जो कि 'धोनी के शहर' रांची से हैं के साथ प्रयासरत और प्रतिबद्ध हैं।
